Olga Sobkiv is an architectural designer and skilled maker who is pursuing a Master’s degree in Architecture at Rice University, having earned a Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2021. Her interests are in architectural tectonics, fabrication, and studio art. Her design philosophy values play, celebrates eccentricity, and prioritizes physical trial and error. It also seeks to express structural tectonics in unique ways, drawing inspiration from Studies in Tectonic Culture by Kenneth Frampton. Currently, she is designing at MIN+ Architecture.
